Ahem. Packet filters are a good WORKAROUND, but nowhere close to a fix.
I agree that people need to install packet filters, and quickly, to
avoid denial of service attacks but, ultimately, Livingston will need
to address and FIX the problem.
Carl, or someone, could do us all a service by posting a filter here for
those people on this list who don't know how to set them up.
