I wouldn't - who knows about it, well, until it went to the list.

Speculation on my part:

If you send a break to a Sun's console port it toggles the system over,
a similar effect. Many originals here came from the sun environment. Any
port on a PM can be a console port.

See where it comes from?

It makes sense to me, but then, I'm weird.

But I also understand the worries about denial of service attacks.
