As you already know, there is a patched 3.1.3c2 available.

Rushing a release is bad - it has only started testing, and is not ready
right now for release.

How good would it be if it fixed this problem and intorduced others, maybe
worse?

I used to work for another firm that would release SW without a lot of
testing because of demand, or because marketing put the pressure on - and
I can't tell you how many *major* bugs showed up after customers were
running it that testing should have caught.

Things like PPP stopped working. Spontaneous rebooting every few hours...

I am very happy to be with Livingston now where the driving force is
quality. I'm very impressed with both the hardware and software - and I'm
*not* saying that because I work here now. But it is one of the reasons I
*do* work here now.

It is also a reason for not promising a date until it is ready - Win95 anyone?
