Y'know I'm tired of the rather common meme that basically states that
people acting in an "official" capacity have to forget that they have any
individuality and become completely bland WRT opinions.
It's a sad state of affairs when people are afraid of slagging some shit
products ( "a turd by any other name..." ) because they might offend
someone. It isn't like people don't _have_ these opinions, so why the
hell don't people get over it.
I realize that it is the pursuit of the almighty dollar that is at the
bottom of this corporate attitude, but please, not in a forum that's as
"tight" as this one is. I realize that we're end-users here, but it
doesn't mean we have to act like prototypical consumers here, if you get
my drift.
Just in case, This message is primarily directed at those "letter writers"
and "phone callers" ( not Sameer ) who where mentioned in the elieded
portion of the original message.
MZ, you can slag Microsoft anytime, as far as I'm concerned. It livens
up my day. I get off on it. Hell, I have hopes that someone will do a
Kennedy on Mr. Gates, actually.
Now, I'm going to dive for my flame-proof shelter.
