We're not using bitsurfers, but we have a coule of ISDN TA's connected
to a PM2e-30. People are _very_ happy with this setup. Very fast
indeed, because these TA's do X.75 (64kbps async) _and_ V.42bis on ISDN.

Very nice to do some web-surfing using this setup. UUCP jobs
now take a couple of seconds to complete which is nice because the ISDN
tariff here is based on a per-second basis.

That brings me to another point...

Yo livngston! When can we expect to see 230k4 speeds on the serial
ports? 115k2 doesn't cut it anymore on a compressed ISDN link. Once
these TA's support channel bonding (next release) it _really_
gets necessary(sp?). (128 kbps + V.42bis)

Oh, and if we're changing things around.. How about a 100baseT ethernet
connection? ;-)

(30 * 230k4bits/sec = 843.75 Kbyte/sec... Get's a bit tight on an already
loaded ethernet...)

Bye Arno.
