weirdness

I have had a couple of people report that they can log on to thier shell
account, but not use ppp (invalid login). I find this a little strange
since all of my users are validated thru radius (ver 1.16 w/SCP patch)
with the "UNIX" password method. Once they change thier password on
thier shell account, both seem to work fine. My first thought is some
kind of encryption key conflict, but I don't really see how that is possible.
ANY thoughts on this subject ???
