Cisco will let you clock a v.35 connection to 4meg too :-)

Yeah but the degredation of performance over most serial UART's is
much more notable than any performance loss you may find in exceeding
the v.35 Spec.

You get what you pay for. We have had ISDN customers convert from
other competators because they aren't getting the type of performance
they expected.. Competators that use RS-232 terminal servers and
regular ISDN TA's. Granted, though, the difference in performance
typically isn't enough to justify the added expensive of something like
a cisco 7000 :-)
