Livingston Enterprises PortMaster Version 3.1.2
System uptime is 50 days 1 hours 54 minutes

50 days ago, I learned about the "attach" bug via. first hand
experience. I saw the new feature, thought new Livingston software was
infallible, and learned my lesson :)

I love the boxes. It's one less thing I need worry about. I don't know
how ISPs who use serial boards keep sane.

Also RADIUS is rapidly becoming an authentication standard. Some new
equipment (the Ascend 400T) will plug right into my authentication
mechanisms, and therefore my accounting systems, with little or
no modification.

If there are problems, Livingston is there. I had a friend who was using
his Livingston to dial into our network temporarily (while setting
up his ISP) and he was having problems.

The livingston engineers promptly resolved the problem less than an hour
after we contacted them, via. a conference call and e-mail sent in
real time.

Overall, nice boxes. I'd be hard pressed to use another.
