Hello, I have been ask to quote on a local company's internet
connection with us, however I have never interfaced with a novell server
before, could someone shed some light on this subject.

Here are the details:

Client computer system is a Novell 2.15 - with 25 users running ipx.
the server has a pclan adapter (IBM'S WONDER)

We have a portmaster 2er10 but will purchase a IRX Router for our end.

The client would like any of the 25 station to have a internet connection
via a tcp/ip winsock.dll type applications.
ie: tcpman, and netscape.

I thought that the best solution is to backbone a IRX router to the server
with a additional ethernet card on the server. Run the IRX in IPX mode.

My main problem is with the protocols will the IRX handle the calls from any
on the 25 workstations, and route the information out to the internet ?

The IRX on my side what or how should I configure it's protocols ??

I may be completley on left field with this, thats why I pose the question
to you all. Any help or suggestions on how to provide a internet connection
with a novell server would be GREAT!

Thanks again

Mike Moskal
