For those of you not capable of running PMConsole today, INVEST IN A REAL
OS! It is youring whining, bitching, and complaining detracting from the
usefulness of this mailing list.
>Keep in mind that there will always be an OS we don't support, always

Does this give them the right to eliminate the usefulness of this list?
>People wanted PMconsole for Windows platforms - that is in beta.
This is a proper decision, as Compatible Systems (what I would consider a
direct Livingston competitor, on the low end) has there management facility
available for Windows / Mac (as lame as it is...;)
>People wanted PMconsole for Linux - that is in beta.
I would be curious to know the installed base of PM equipment, where the
customers do not have a supported OS available. Livinston has been
supporting the majority of the commercial OS' (non-intel based) for years!

So true... It is difficult to tell the minority that their OS just doesn't
have the installed base to warrant the expense for supporting it...
>Some places might just hack the code and dump it on the market with a 'good

Sounds like Win95, and OS2/Warp...

Yes!!!!!!!!! Tech support has been slow (in some cases never) in responding
to a few issues I have had in the past, but I have managed to fix /
circumvent them. What I am trying to say can best be described in two
words, GREAT JOB!!!
I have been using Livingston equipment for nearly 2 years now, and have a
sizeable base of installed equipment, and couldn't be happier!
