We had a little trouble with the idle timer too. It would not work at
all until I set it for a value over 20. And then I was able to bring it
back down to about 7-10 minutes with it still working. I am not sure if
this was a coincidence or not. And I'm not sure if this will help you,
but try a very high number to start with, and then bring it back to what
you want. BTW I have never been able to set it for less than 5 minutes.
