We have approximately the same string, but have added "S10=60". S10
determines how long a modem will wait through line noise until it gives up
and drops carrier. It's in tenths of a second, so this tells the modems to
wait an entire 6 seconds before quitting. The default is always 14. I
don't know whether it makes one bit of difference.
