I've never really understood this....I've never seen shell accounts as
being high maintenance. Certainly more than PPP accounts (except that
you generally get people that are more knowledgeable using shell), but
not tremendously, and certainly not so high maintenance as to offset the
benefit of being one of the only providers in the area that offers
*FULL* shell access. Some other providers in the area have "shell"
access but restrict you in a menu system....blech.

We do. What's the big deal....why *don't* you run identd? As a system
administrator I would be *much* happier with your system if you did.
