That makes sense. I can't help but wonder about another possibility,
though. Is it possible that the 5bri card has trouble with empty ports?
Ours currently has only three bri's in use. We're using the 10-pin cable
to a punchdown block, but two of the pairs just terminate there. Can
anybody disprove this possibility?
