Disconnects redux

Hey there. We've been hit big-time with the disconnects problem over the
last two weeks, and I've been going over the list archives. I wasn't
reading the list until just recently, and haven't been called back by
Livingston in three days, so I'll post my questions to the list:

1) We are on ComOS 3.1.4. Is there any consensus on whether upgrading will
result in more or fewer disconnects?

2) Do the 3.3.2 versions run on PM-25s? We have one PM-2e, 5 PM-25s.

3) The problem seems to have kicked in very suddenly, and seems very
systemic. We can't identify a particular user configuration/modem that gets
hit regularly, although certain users do seem to get hit more often than
others; that's why I tend to think it's a PM problem and not a
user/telco/modem problem. Since the problem's appearance is sudden and
inexplicable, has anyone seen the problem just suddenly go away?
