I will try to describe my configuration - could
someone please take a look and get back to me about
what I might do to fix this.
204.70.105.65 MCI
|
204.70.105.66 IRX114 Serial1
|
206.31.1.1 IRX114 ether0 (router a)
|
206.31.1.10 IRX114 ether0 (router b)
|
206.31.1.13 IRX114 Serial2
|
206.31.1.14 Cisco Serial0
|
206.150.122.65 Cisco ether0
In both router a and router b, there is a static route
to 206.150.122.64: router a is
206.150.122.64 206.31.1.10 3
and router b shows
206.150.122.64 206.31.1.14 2
I had to a the route to router b as a static route.
Both routers have 206.150.122.0 subnetted with a
255.255.255.192 netmask in their netmask tables.
The Cisco has the default gateway set correctly and
has 0.0.0.0 to 206.31.1.13.
I would really appreciate any help on this - I called
cisco first, but they worked through the config and
say the Cisco routing is correct. Can you please help
me verify that the IRXs are routing correctly?
One more thing, this is the first time I have
used a machine on the 206.150.122.0 network so
I had MCI verify that they are advertising the
route to 206.31.1.1 - they did a traceroute from
their location and said the packet stopped in
206.31.1.10.
