You are correct *IF* you are using radiusd with the ESVAnet patches.
DEFAULT supplies values for all logins (including username.ppp) and
DEFAULT.ppp supplies additional values for people who log in as
username.ppp.
But that's *ONLY* with ESVAnet radiusd -- Livingston radiusd does not work
that way, nor does any other I know of.
