Once upon a time Nick D'Amico shaped the electrons to say...
>I run a small ISP in northern california and we are getting ready to =
>purchase more modems...currently we have had nothing but problems with =
>our USR sportster piece-o-junk modems...I am thinking of USR Couriers, =
>but they are a bity expensive....has anyone had any good luck with other =
>modems? Maybe zoom, or microcomm? I would appriciate knowing what some =
>of you other ISP's out there use for your modems....

USR - couriers are all fine, 28.8 Sportsters are fine, 33.6 Sportsters are
buggy

NEVER use Zoom. Zoom is one of the worst modems on the market, a
perpetual nightmare. You'd be better off even with Multitech, and list
regulars know how much I despise MT modems.

Point of netiquette - never send mail attachments to a mailing list. Not
only will a number of people be unable to read it anyway, but they can
actually screw up a number of mailers. I've seen some ugly things happen.
