Sort of weird to do it this way, I don't think I've seen anyone include
the setup string in a dial script. I never do.
BTW, you realize this would be a hell of a lot easier if you used an
OR-U instead of an OR-M with an external TA.

You don't have to, no. But I'd imagine the support person who saw you
mention sending a setup string thought it was in the modem table since that
is the normal way to do it.

You telnet into the PM from the ethernet. If you can't connect via the
ether, I'm afraid you are SOL. Unless you can put a PCMCIA modem in and
dial into the PM, login as !root, and then attach to S0. (Again, this
would be a piece of cake if you used an OR with the ISDN built in. Took
me a couple of minutes to get my connection up from home, works like a
champ. Why are you doing it this way, just happen to have the OR-M and TA
around?)
