Because the PM was not designed to work this way. The coolest part about
the Portmaster is that it does internal PPP at ungodly speed. I'd try to
figure out a wwy to port the security over to the Radius system. If your
TACAC (which I have no experience with) is using Unix for authentication,
it seems like it would be pretty simple to have both a TACAC and RADIUS
servers running off of one set of using Password files.
Please someone fill me in if I am wrong :)
