Yeah, its pretty anal, but I can see their point...

1. Possible backdoors.

2. The addition of backdoors in supposibly "legit" releases. Pretty easy to correct if you JUST get
the release data from LIVINGSTON, and compile it at your own risk.

3. support hassles (easily corrected - "we don't support that OS or self-compiled stuff, its juet there
for your convienience")

4. hiding something (aren't we all?)
