Trumpet Winsock ??? connecting............

O.K. I have a customer that I have tried everything over the telephone that
I can think of to get online. This happens once in every 200 or so customers.

Each time they are using trumpet Winsock 2.0b and win 3.1 Different modems...
They dial they connect they send Pusername and password the PM shows
connecting and then they timeout after awhile never getting an IP address.

I have checked in the File PPP options and they are NOT using PAP.

I have tried ALL of the recommended MTU etc. settings. I have slowed the
modems down to 2400 baud. Same result.....

We have tried manual dialing and auto dialing.....

Any more ideas out there. Other than throw away windows and winsock.....
