Rack Modem questions

We're currently running with a combination of USR Sportster and
Motorola Lifestyle modems. I have evaluated a Microcom Deskporte Fast
rack mountable unit and find that its too unreliable for our needs. I've
been looking at USR's MP/16, Hayes, and Multitech MR series modems. Is
anybody out there using these successfully with Portmasters? Are you happy
with their quality and tech support? Also, how about hardware failures and
situations where you've got to reset modems? We'd like our dialup access
to be as maintenance free as possible. If anybody has any thoughts,
please post them. Thanks in advance.
