Portmaster Woes...

We have 4 Portmasters PM2e(r) 30port (CMos 3.3.1)set up to take
login PPP users, verifying via Radius. During our slow times, everything is
fine. When we start to get buisy we start having trouble. People cannot log
in, passwords are accepted, but no IP is assigned, or it freeses at the
Login prompt and dosn't accept username and password. This happens only
during our buisy times.
All the portmaster are connected vie ethernet (rj45) to a Cisco 2501
router, and out to a dedicated T1. I upgraded all the portmaster from the
standard 1meg to 4megs each, which seemed to help some. We are using USR
Total Controll Modems connected to these Portmasters.
I am awaiting a call form Livingston Tech support as well.
If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them!
