Strange PM behavior.

Yesterday my PM decided to go ballistic on its buffer usage, hitting 575,
when normally I never exceed 150. I had 3 users on, one 3.1 w/ trumpet,
the other two Win95 with dialup networking. I noticed that one of the
users was not movin much data (around 4800 baud), so I cycled his modem,
tossing him off and resetting the modem (this was after trying to reset
the port 5 times and it not responding).
He dialed back in and it worked like it should at a much higher speed
than it was. Also, there was NO PENDING DATA listed in the console
during this.
Freaky eh? I got 4 megs ram, ComOS 3.3.2b3 (I think thats it, I know its
a beta), and Cardinal 28.8ks locked at 57.6k feeding off a 56K DDS
circuit.
