Great. One I can answer... If your modem serial numbers begin with
000839024... then you probably need to get new supervisor chips. The
latest supervisor chip, as of several weeks ago, was version 2.31, dated
03-04-96. Anything earlier, and you need to upgrade. To check it, attach
to modem, and issue: ATI7 As for init string, AT&F1 works fine, make sure
Dip 5 is up for Answer mode. Piece of cake. I can do it in my sleep.
