I was wondering what is the best way to compile a percentage used of
capacity figure for a pm2er. I want to charge usage of permenent links by
% increments. For example, a client that uses 10% of their 28.8k line
will pay less than someone who uses 60% of thier 28.8k line.
I know I can do a byte count of the line, but I need to know if this data
is saved should the line disconnect etc. Also is there any way of NOT
including the byte count from a local server (ie a route that does not
pass over MY link to the internet) which will encourage users to use
caches etc?
Any hints any one?
