subnet a class c

Hi, :-)
Iīm trying to work with subnets and I have some questions.

1.- If I have a subnetted class C, with 255.255.255.224 netmask, can I use the
8 subnets????. For example if I have the network 200.x.100.0 and the netmask is
255.255.255.224, can I use the following subnets ??

(*) 200.x.100.0
200.x.100.32
200.x.100.64
200.x.100.96
200.x.100.128
200.x.100.160
200.x.100.192
(*) 200.x.100.224

Is possible that I canīt use the subnets 200.x.100.0 and 200.x.100.224???????
If I use the 8 (6) subnets for 8 (6) Portmaster PMe30, I use 30 address for the
30 asynchronous ports (Assigned in Global Par) and what about the ether0 port?

2.- I have 2 class C; X.X.1.0 and X.X.2.0, can I use on a PMe30 the address X.X.1.1
for the ether0 and the address X.X.2.1 for the assigned IP pool. In other words, can I
use different "network" address for the ethernet port and the asyncronous ports.
