Trying to configure an ISDN dialup...
Well, it seems as I won't get this damn thing running after all.
Here's the situation :
Client side : Mac with SAGEM ISDN card running PlanetPPP
BRI
Server side : Ascend Max4000 E1/PRI running 4.6B+
PRI
Radius Server (ascendd, version 960528)
Now, my wish to connect the two seems to be impossible.
Here's what happens :
The client dials in the Max, the Max authentifies the client w/ Radius
correctly. The client gets his IP address (see users profile below) and
that's it ! Nothing else happens. It doesn't route, it doesn't bridge, it
doesn't ANYTHING but passing the IP address...
Does somebody have ANY idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm sitting here for
three (3!!!) days now and I must say, I've had it. I'm out of ideas. I've
RTFMed all of the materials I've received, but nope... :-((
Ah, and another thing : what manuals come with the Max4000 ? I only have
two, which is the "Quick Configuration guide" and the "User Documentation",
that's all. Everybody's talking about other manuals but I don't find them
anywhere !
The "Radius-" and "Security Supplement" are the only thing I got from ftp.
