IRX<-->Cisco via PPP over T1

Is there any trick to setting up a T1 link between a Portmaster IRX and a
Cisco box? I'm using PPP, and I've tried with and without seperately
assigned IP addresses for the serial ports, but I cannot establish a
connection. I'm using a port capable of 1536k, and the stats seem to be
registering input and output activity on the port.
Would the IRX have any problems handling the odd DTE rates of a fractional
T1?
