Customer just upgraded from 14.4 to 28.8. The brandname is Creatix.
Windows 95 says it's a Standard 28800 bps modem, with access speed set to
57600, with hardware flow control on, Xon/Xoff turned off. I had him
tune down the FIFO buffers (Rx/Tx) to see if that would fix problem. No go.
Then I had him tune down the port speed to 19200, and it would stay
connected. Turned the port speed to 38400 and no go. 57600 no go.
I'm out of solutions. Anyone got any hints/tips for a dead-ended tech?
This guy is getting 19200 throughput out of a 28800 modem. Sux!
