AH - you would need a 5BRI expansion card (MOD-10I-U) which has 5 BRI ports.
You can put two of these in your 2eR in the two expansion slots - if you need
the 10 BRI connections.
You also need to run ComOS 3.3.1 or above - I would recommend 3.3.1c1 as it
has the fix for the 2eR WAN port bug.
Adding the card is just like any other expansion card, should be covered in
the HW Guide I believe. ComOS is a standard upgrade. The release notes for
3.3.1 cover the new features, and the Config Guide covers ISDN as well
as async ports. They are very much the same as ther ports, except that you
need to set Directory Numbers and SPIDs on the ports. That information,
along with the switch type, should be provided by your telco.
>Do I need to subnet my network to provide dedicated ISDN?
That depends on what you are doing. If you want to route many IPs to a
customer, it makes sense to route a subnet. If you just mean you have an
ISDN line dedicated to a customer to dial into, it is no different from any
other line. 'dedicated' has many uses, unfortuately.
>I hope that I am a bit clearer.
Yes.
