Problem with connections...

Hi,
I'm quite new at this so dont be too hard...and give me plenty of =
details and examples if apply, thanks. This is a new ISP in =
New-Cal=E9donia.
This is my problem :
I seem to be able to connect to the PortMaster (PortMaster 2e) only =
sometimes...I've been following the Ports sec by sec and most of the =
time the connection gets stuck when USERNAME shows up.
Once in a while it gets connected with ESTABLISHING in the Status.
I have noticed also that this seems to be happening from some ports and =
not all of them. I guess it must be a setup problem somewhere but I =
can't get it.
