Gee, guess that means my Cisco 250x's aren't real routers because they
only have 25Mhz 68030's? :)

If he's got large routing tables, he'll want a better routing protocol than
RIP, and last I looked Ascend only did RIP (albeit v2).

Anyway, if he just needs to route a couple of BRI's, none of this really
matters. Just about anything should have adequate CPU to handle that,
and routing protocols aren't a big problem. On a larger scale they should
be a significant concern, but not for several BRI's (I think the original
question was about just 1 BRI). My biggest concern would be the reliability
of the equipment.
