telnet port

We have portmasters at two of our POPs, one in Ohio (where I am) and another
in Florida. The person who set up the florida POP added some extra safety by
changing the default telnet port. Problem is I do not know what that port
is, and he quit. So far I have been unable to contact him.
Is there anyone to discover what prot that would be? Any programs
that I could set to try all the ports one at a time???
Any help on this woudl be greatly appreciated.
