If you want the cisco to redistribute all RIP routes, that last line
really should be

redistribute rip metric 1 subnets

An example of configuring a cisco to redistribute OSPF and RIP into
each other is

http://wwww.cisco.com/univercd/data/doc/software/10_3/rpcg/78716.htm#HDR60

This short example is all you need to make ciscos and PMs live
together in peace, other than a caution about feeding any dynamic
routing protocols into each other at more than one POP.
