It is possible to have a static or dynamic IP addresses using Open
Transport 1.1. As a matter of fact, the set up is identical either way.
It is the terminal server that arranges the assignment. Open transport
will grab the address that the terminal server gives to it. If the
terminal server elects to give the same address every time (static
address), then OT will accept it every time. Now isn't that simple?
