We just added a client to our ethernet. This customer has an entire class
c that they would like to use. They are currently attached and cannot
ping our hosts or router even though I have a static route in my IRX as
follows:
206.72.205.0 206.72.196.1 NS 1 ether0
It lists it as a NS for static route instead of NL like our network
would appear in the route table.
It was brought to my attention that since my router, which will be his
router to the net is on a different network, then my router will have to
have an IP address in his network. That means 2 IP addresses on a single
ethernet. Is this possible with an IRX? If not, what other measures can
we take to get our machines talking to eachother?
Any help would be appreciated :)
