Best initialization string for USR Sportster 33.6?

What is the best init string for USR Sportster 33.6 modems for use with
PM2e servers?

I am currently using at&f1s0=1&w

I have seen some postings on Usenet about adding s10=7, is this valid? I
guess the default s10 register is set to 14.
