You can use channelized T1 instead of PRI lines (no ISDN obviously) which
tend to be cheaper. And it allows you to use an integrated solution
instead of external modems on a comm server and having cable soup. In
some areas channelized T1 is extremely cost effective compared to normal
POTS lines.
BTW, I've seen the pricing plan, even for a loaded unit we're going to stomp
Ascend's pricing. ;-)
