I just give my Win3.1 lamuhs Internet Explorer 2.1 w/ dialer & mail. The
dialer is OK, the browser & email are pretty lame IMHO, but most of the 3.1
users like it (hey, they can't have much class, they're using 3.1)...
Trumpet 2.x has some major problems with the fact it didn't properly
support (or at all, I can't remember) secondary DNS servers. If your
primary is busy or in la-la land, they'd be SOL. A couple of my more
techhead 3.1 users have thrown on Trumpet 3.0 with good results.
Another thing for my post earlier - and hell its on topic here too:
Trumpet 2.x works great when my users call my FreeBSD system, but it's
looney on the PM... doesn't make much sense, does it?
