Once upon a time Ming He shaped the electrons to say...
>I am setting up dynamic PPP connection with PM 2e and Radius.
>
>/etc/raddb/users:
># read password from host
>DEFAULT Password = "UNIX"
> User-Service-Type = Framed-User,
> Framed-Protocol = PPP,
> Framed-Address = 255.255.255.254,
> Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.255,
> Framed-Routing = None,
> Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobsen-TCP-IP,
> Framed-Filter-Id = "std.ppp.in"
> Framed-MTU = 1500

The filter is wrong, everything else is ok.

1. Unless you have a filter you have createdm do not set this line.
2. The '.in' should not be there, one of the examples is wrong.

>Then on PM 2e, which I am not sure:
>Portmaster> set s1 destination xxx.xxx.xxx.101 255.255.255.0
>.........
>Portmaster> set s29 destination xxx.xxx.xxx.129 255.255.255.0
>Portmaster> save all
>Portmaster> reset all
>That will do it?

No. The IP settings on the ports have nothing to do with dialin or dialout
use. You need to set up a dynamic address pool by setting the 'assigned
address' parameter.
