Once upon a time Curt Eckhart shaped the electrons to say...
>I was looking around inside one of my portmasters when I noticed
>this very large route table.

Note that nearly all of them are Flagged 'ND' = Network, Dynamic. Ie, you
are listening with RIP and the gateway machine is broadcasting those. The
PM is doing what it should and adding the routes learned via RIP to its
routing table.

>Is this normal ? If not, what have I (probably) done wrong and how do
>I correct it ?

It is normal if you want to listen to RIP, if not turn off RIP listen on
ether0.
