Timing out ISDN connections.

Dear Livingston Gurus,

I'm building a client/server application (MacTCP-based) that uses a
pm2e/BRI for the server and OR-U's for the clients. I want to use the
connection timeout feature of the routers to close the ISDN
connections. Currently, I have the client nodes send a "keep alive"
transaction to the server every 5 minutes. Will this keep the pm2e
from timing out or do I need the server to send "keep alive" events to
the client?

Thanx in advance for your help.
