Idle timeouts in 3.3.1

I have a user complaining that he gets cut off after thirty mninutes during
an extended download over PPP (netscape). On each asynchronous port, I
have the idle cutoff timer set to 30 minutes. In the Livingston
documentation, it states that ComOS versions prior to 3.0.3 only monitor
input activity. If this also happens to be the case with 3.3.1, it would
explain the problem. Does anyone know if this is the case?
