I've scraped the bits off the flash RAM no fewer than 4 or 5 times,
changing between ComOS versions and whatnot. So far it's always been
repeatable, and we're still looking for the underlying cause.
I must say Livingston's been pretty good about all this. The machine
that's not operating properly is a replacement PM for one of the first
PMs that had the WAN problem. They'd drop-shipped this new one to us
and said that we could send back the original when we were ready. We've
had this going on for a while, and it has not been a problem with
Livingston to be hanging on to one of their boxes for so long.
