radius & 16 character shadow password

I got shadow-ina-box-1.1.tgz and installed it on my Linux box.
It is working with 16 characters shadow password system.
But when I tried to login through PM25 into my linux box, I could not be connected. Radius rejected my 16 character password.
When I changed it to 8 character, I could reach to my linux through PM25.
I am using radius authentication with users file, i.e. with "UNIX" password term.
If you know some, please help me.
