Modem disconnects

I've looked in the archives, and so far, can't find any solutions to the
modem disconnect problem.

Our situation: PM2ER/30's, with BocaModem v.34s. Every so often, the modem
connection just drops... with no explanation. Running COMOS 3.3.1 on 5 of
the PM2ERs, and 3.3.2c1 on 3 of them... and the problem happens, apparently
at random, on all of the them. No particular port, no particular modem.

Did I miss the solution somewhere?
