The strangest thing is happening to the 5BRI. I currently have a
customer who has an Ascend 50. He has a dedicated Line to me via 64k.
Seems like when you set up Ascend to receive "or dial in" to the
Portmaster using the correct user name and password but an invalid ip
number it locks up the Portmaster. I can explain how it did it but it is
a fact. If i connect to one channel using a subnetted ip with lets say
username john and then log onto the other channel with a differnet
username say robby but both with the same network number, it should lock
up the Ascend. Strange thing is the Livingston is locked up, I mean
telnet and all until I remove the ISDN RJ14 from the 5bri Card. Someone
else has to have experienced this other than myself!!!!
I hve gotten it to lock up with other methods but I am sure this one
locks it up for sure!!! I have the latest 3.2.3c1 and the newest 5bri
cards.
Any one else have this happen to them?
