Well this really doesn't have anything to do with Livingston, but since so
many people use BSpro's to talk to the Livingston I will post the response
publically. First, the BSpro can run up to 230.4Kbps for it's serial
rate if you have a 16650 (or equivalent) board that can go this fast.
To do this when connected to the BSpro at some speed from 115.2K or down
all you need to do is issue the following command:

AT@P2=230400&W

This will set and lock the serial interface at 230.4K, but after this you
will NOT be able to communicate with the BSpro untill you set your baud
rate to 230.4K as the interface switches when you enter the command. At
the 230.4K rate the unit will NOT AUTOBAUD so you must run at this speed.

Last note to BSpro users, Motorola just released a new flash update for
the BSpro (REV J), which corrects the MPPP problem when talking to a
Livingston 5BRI board. So if you (or any of your users) are using a BSpro
to talk to a Livingston, I strongly recommend you update. The new flash
code is available on the Motorola ISG WWW page.

Hope this is helpful to some...
